What You'll Do as the Receiver: Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, quality, and condition against documentationSafely unload trucks and trailers using forklifts or other material-handling equipmentOrganize, stage, and store materials to ensure timely availability for productionMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory tracking systemsIdentify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptlyCommunicate effectively with purchasing, production, and vendors as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage areaFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and material-handling guidelinesWhat You Need to Bring to the Receiver Role: Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments preferred but not requiredForklift or crane experience, or willingness to obtain certificationBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSafety-focused mindset with adherence to policies and proceduresAbility to lift materials up to 50 pounds regularly and stand or walk throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate noiseWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
