You’re confident presenting unpopular opinions, and you listen empathetically to the ideas presented by others.Why This Role is ExcitingWe’re seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager who can lead a team to drive large, strategic, and complex projects from end-to-end. This position requires a high level of leadership, empathy, mentorship, and helping to design and architect scalable solutions. Our ideal candidate should be able to take a broad idea from concept, to plan, to implementation. We're a hardworking, energetic team that is passionate about our customers and we believe that to be successful we should never stop learning: learning about our customers, our product, and how to build better software.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Willingness to get hands-on in the code with the team to provide ground-level direction and feedback when needed. Build a strong understanding of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and use that to inform technical and product direction.People Leadership: Ensure your team is well-supported and able to work effectively. Manage and develop a diverse team of engineers through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and continually building the team and individual’s capabilities.Partnership: Develop and nurture relationships with Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, Sales, etc. to deliver the best-in-class experience for our customers. Work closely with Product Management to set meaningful goals and objectives for the team.
