About the Opportunity:The Technical Writer, B2B SaaS is responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that supports developers and users in integrating and utilizing the company’s products and APIs. This role contributes to enhancing user experience by developing and maintaining high-quality technical content that reduces complexity and supports developer efficiency. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager of Platform Experience, the position plays a key role in shaping content strategy and ensuring documentation meets the needs of both technical and non-technical audiences.3. Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineering and product teams to document new features, API updates, and integrations.Develop and implement long-term content strategies to improve documentation organization and discoverability.Conduct regular reviews to maintain content accuracy and high documentation standards.Partner with multiple teams including engineering, product, and customer support to align documentation with user needs.Establish best practices for consistent and usable internal and external documentation.Identify and execute improvements to existing content and documentation workflows.4. Requirements:Over 5 years of technical writing experience, particularly in B2B SaaS environments.Ability to translate complex concepts into concise and clear documentation.Expertise in API documentation and familiarity with software development processes.Proficiency with Markdown, Git, JIRA, and experience working in docs-as-code environments.Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.Experience collaborating with technical teams including developers and product managers.Familiarity with backend languages such as Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with documentation generation tools, automation, and AI-assisted error detection.Understanding of user experience principles, content design, and accessibility.Experience managing large-scale information architecture projects.Ability to learn and document new technologies and software products.5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The salary range for this position is $89,865 to $155,767, with individual pay based on location, skills, experience, and education.The position is eligible for variable pay and a comprehensive benefits package.6.
