Maintenance Technician

Responsible for advanced maintenance and repairs of facility and industrial equipment, enhancing productivity through the installation of new machinery, designing electrical systems, programming PLCs, and documenting their activities while participating in training programs to ensure skill development and safety compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards. Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment. Install, modify, and maintain machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance. Accurately reads blueprints, schematics, micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and wiring diagrams in making repair and adjustments. Performs construction, plumbing, concrete, and carpentry work to support building repairs and reconstruction projects. Works independently or as a team with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-management skills. Accurately completes all required paperwork and enters job-related data into computer systems. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
