How you’ll make an impact in this role Give pre and post renal transplant patient support. Provide care to post surgical patients having carotid revascularization, stents, amputations, surgical monitoring and general surgeries like appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and thyroidectomies. Care for patients who require surgical interventions for significant peripheral vascular compromise. Gain knowledge and understanding of drips, including PCA pumps, heparin, and insulin. Develop and maintain skills with wound changes including Wet-to-Dry, wound VAC and post surgical drains. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
