Description: The Interventional Radiology Tech is responsible for performing a range of radiology exams and diagnoses for both adults and pediatrics. This role is set in a busy department that services patients from the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, nursing units, and outpatients. Daily patient volume averages between 25 to 30. The department is supported by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and an Imaging Manager. The team consists of diverse experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals. Advanced technology includes Siemens single-plane and bi-plane equipment as well as Cannon bi-plane systems. Technologists wear black scrubs. The department culture emphasizes teamwork and high clinical skill sets while maintaining the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Travelers are expected to cover holiday shifts unless prior approval is obtained. The work schedule is consistent with the contract agreed upon, with no rotation between weekends and weekdays.
