Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hourJob description:Powersports / Motorcycle Mechanic – Central Oregon (La Pine / Bend, OR)Job Type: Full-time or Part-timePay: $18–$32/hour (depending on experience and skill level)Location: This job is on-site at our shop in La Pine, Oregon (about 30 minutes south of Bend).OverviewMoto Aspirations is a locally owned powersports repair shop serving Central Oregon since 2011. We specialize in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, snow bikes, and other small engines.We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Powersports Mechanic who can jump in and help keep bikes, sleds, and machines running strong. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, a passion for motorsports, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a small-shop environment, takes pride in quality work, and enjoys building lasting customer relationships.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across multiple types of powersports vehicles.Perform repairs including:Oil changes, tire installs, and brake jobsFork seals, chain and track replacementsCarb cleaning, fuel systems, and wiringValve adjustments, motor swaps, timing, and electrical workDisassemble and reassemble motors and components efficiently.Perform general maintenance and safety checks.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Occasionally interact with customers to explain repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.Requirements2–3+ years of hands-on experience as a mechanic (powersports preferred; automotive accepted with willingness to cross-train).Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs at once.Familiarity with suspension systems, fuel systems, and general powersports repair techniques.Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and power tools.Detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious.Ability to lift 50+ lbs when needed.Proficient English speaking and writing skills.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available.Preferred QualificationsFormal training or certification from a mechanic school.Prior experience with motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, or similar machines.Welding or fabrication skills.Benefits & PerksFlexible scheduling (full-time or part-time).Competitive pay based on skills and experience.Small, supportive shop environment.Variety of work across multiple machine types — no two days are the same.How to ApplySubmit your resume via Indeed or contact us directly through our website athttps://www.motoaspirations.com/hiring-a-mechanic.htmlJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractBenefits:Flexible scheduleWork Location: In person
