Organizing Manager Position Overview As an Organizing Manager, you are the on-site leader responsible for managing Organizing Assistants and Logistics Assistants during projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading project execution on the ground. This role works in close partnership with our Client Relationship Manager, who owns the client relationship across engagements. The Client Relationship Manager staffs you to projects, provides full client context at kickoff, and remains the client's ongoing relationship contact at Neatly. You are the primary project contact during active execution, running the work, providing daily updates to the client, and partnering with the Client Relationship Manager on anything that affects scope, timeline, or the client experience overall. The role is hands-on: you are present during projects, leading your team through execution, catching quality issues in real time, solving problems as they arise, and keeping clients informed and confident in our work. What You Will Do Team Leadership & On-Site Management Lead and supervise Organizing Assistants and Logistics Specialists during project execution Conduct project kickoffs with your team to ensure clarity on scope, timeline, and client expectations Assign tasks, manage workflow, and keep projects moving on schedule Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support to team members Step in and do hands-on work (organizing, moving, packing) as needed Foster a collaborative, focused team dynamic where quality is the priority Quality Assurance & Standards Conduct ongoing quality checks throughout each project to ensure work meets The Neatly Way standards Walk through completed work before client handoff to ensure The Neatly Way is executed Take ownership of the final product delivered to the client Client Communication During Projects Serve as the primary project contact for clients during active execution Answer client questions and address on-site concerns in real time Partner with the Client Relationship Manager on scope changes, pricing conversations, and any issue that affects the broader client relationship Represent Neatly professionally on every client interaction Problem Solving & Troubleshooting Identify obstacles during projects and solve them quickly Make decisions about resource allocation, schedule adjustments, and problem resolution Communicate issues and changes to leadership and the Client Relationship Manager Keep projects moving forward smoothly Who Will Thrive In This Role You are organized, detail-oriented, and a natural leader. Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience in team leadership, project supervision, or hands-on management (construction, trades, moving, organizing, hospitality, or similar service industry) Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Strong communication skills with both teams and clients Comfortable with quality assurance and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to be flexible and responsive to project needs and timeline changes Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications Experience in home organizing, home design, residential services, or luxury client services Experience managing teams in service or hands-on industries What Success Looks Like Projects are executed on time and The Neatly Way Clients are satisfied and confident in our work during active projects Your team feels supported, clear on expectations, and engaged in their work Quality issues are caught early and fixed before client handoff You and the Client Relationship Manager have a strong partnership and stay in sync on every active project All project hours are accurately documented and billable Compensation & Schedule This is an hourly position based in Houston. Most work hours are billable to client projects. Projects are typically scheduled three to four days per week with eight-hour workdays, though hours vary based on project workload and client needs.. Hourly rates are competitive and based on experience. You will be a key part of building a growing, client-focused organization and will have real influence on how we deliver quality work.
