This includes the monitoring of correction actions to ensure none go overdue, categorizing corrective actions and scheduled work as required by procedure, and attending site and industry meetings as the Security subject matter expert on these topics.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Performs the analysis of CAP data and evaluation of performance of systems, equipment, work activities, and programs within Ideagen.Performs analysis and evaluation of scheduled work and uses expertise to identify security as a resource to support plant evolutions.Assist in the evaluation of industry proposals for Regulations and guidelines to determine impact to security activities, programs and processes.Prepare materials and conduct training on use of Syntempo and Ideagen specific to the Security Organization's use.Determine and recommend courses of corrective action to address existing and emerging situations within Ideagen.May serve as a technical subject matter expertise within defined area of expertise.Assist in the coordination of manpower and work activities as needed.Support the drill and exercise program as scheduledGenerate Work Orders through IdeagenPerform Observations with the Security Observation ProgramAcquire qualification as ERO Security CoordinatorEducation, Experience & Skill Requirements:Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or 10 years equivalent related work nuclear experience in area of technical expertise2 years supervisor experience or resident expert in fieldKnowledge of plant equipment, systems and processesTechnical expertise within assigned disciplineUnderstanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies and procedures pertinent to nuclear security, plant scheduling, and the corrective action programKey Metrics:Technical competenceTeamworkProblem solving/Decision makingResults Orientation** Final pay grade will be determined based on applicant's experience and qualifications **Job FamilyPlant OperationsCompanyVistra Nuclear Operations CompanyLocationsGlen Rose, TexasTexasWe are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
