Senior Electrical Engineer

The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring an "Electrical Engineer III" for a top leading pharmaceutical organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed electrical design for small to mid-scale projects, including load calculations, short circuit studies, voltage drop calculations, and equipment specifications.Review large project designs for code compliance, constructability, and system compatibility.Support installation, inspection, and commissioning of electrical, fire alarm, security, telecom, and control systems.Troubleshoot electrical and power quality issues in collaboration with Maintenance and JLL teams.Manage electrical and facility-related engineering projects from design through implementation.Review and approve electrical drawings and change records impacting validated systems.Identify and support energy conservation initiatives and utility improvements.Provide technical support for SHE permit applications and operational issues.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).Minimum 4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industrial standards, and construction practices.Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and ladder logic drawings.Experience with project lifecycle activities including design, construction, commissioning, and validation.EIT or PE certification preferred.Additional Details:Location: Vacaville, CAPosition Type: 6 months contractPay rate approved: $70-75/hr. on W2 depending on experience Must be authorized to work in the United States.
