Financial Controller

Location: Newark, NJ- DailyCompensation: $120,000-$135,000 plus bonusWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:• Own the full accounting function with true end-to-end accountability and visibility.• Be the financial backbone for leadership, providing insights that directly inform strategy and growth.• Lead and develop an accounting team, strengthening your people leadership and succession-building experience.• Operate in a manufacturing environment where strong controls and operational finance really matter.• Work with modern finance tools (SAP B1, DataRails, advanced Excel) to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.• Play a central role in cash management and working capital decisions that impact the business daily.• Drive process improvements and best practices, leaving a lasting operational footprint.Key Responsibilities for the Financial Controller:• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.• Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, payroll coordination, and cash positioning.• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness.• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.• Manage, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team.Qualifications for the Financial Controller:• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.• 5+ years in a people management or leadership role.• Deep expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.• SAP Business One (SAP B1) experience preferred.• Advanced Excel skills; DataRails experience a strong plus.#INMAY2026#LI-SM1
