Job Title: Mental Health Monitor / Sitter (MHM/S)Location: Maricopa CountyContract Duration: Minimum 13 WeeksSchedule3 × 12-hour shifts per weekOpen Positions: 31 Day Shift2 Night Shifts Position OverviewThe Mental Health Monitor / Sitter (MHM/S) is responsible for monitoring patients who may be at risk of self-harm or harm to others. This role involves continuous observation, reporting patient activity, and supporting the healthcare team in maintaining a safe environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor patients on suicide watch or therapeutic restraintsPerform visual or video monitoring of assigned patientsReport patient observations and behavioral changes to licensed nursesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in patient recordsFollow instructions from medical staff and unit supervisorsEnsure patient safety by identifying and reporting potential risksMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 6 months experience in clerical or support services in a medical settingExperience monitoring multiple screens or patient observation systems preferred
