Senior Relationship Manager
Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking an on-site Senior Relationship Manager to join our Rancho Cordova Commercial Banking Office. This is a full-time position that requires both office-based and off-site visits. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for marketing new commercial banking clients to the Bank and managing and growing portfolio client relationships to meet all ongoing established portfolio growth and credit quality goals within the respective Commercial Banking Office, including loans, deposits and other Bank product offerings. The Senior Relationship Manager should have demonstrated expertise in various commercial loan types, with strong credit skills. The Senior Relationship Manager will have a strong understanding of all Bank credit, deposit and cash management products and possess the ability to clearly explain products to current and prospective clients. This position will be expected to make larger, more complex loans with limited guidance from the Regional Manager and be expected to provide guidance to Relationship Managers I and II. The position will work in partnership with the Portfolio Manager and Credit Administration to provide timely closing of loans and other credit approval processes to meet established service levels for outstanding customer service to the Bank's clients and prospects. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated ability to operate a computer with Windows-based programs (Windows, MS Word,Excel, Outlook, etc.). Basic understanding of banking policies and procedures. Solid understanding of Accounting, Financial Accounting, Commercial Credit underwriting. Excellent communication, sales, and public relations skills. Professional / Educational Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum 5-7 year’s relevant banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The hiring pay range for this position is $147,883 to $214,432. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
