Collaborating closely with the Sales Engineering and Delivery teams, you will act as a technical expert during the sales process, helping to showcase the value of our custom solutions and services across the Appian platform. Outside of pre-sales work, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and implementing applications that deliver the highest quality experience to our customers using the Appian platform.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making.Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers.Capture requirements and translate Customer’s business needs into innovative solutions.Promote mutual roadmap and planning exchanges.Collaborate with Tech Partners to own the technical win for Appian opportunities.Engage with client executives to define outcomes and solution approach for cloud-enabled digital transformation.Lead technical content for proposals and RFPs solution design, estimates, and differentiators integrating Appian with the client's data and tech ecosystems.Present solution proposals and provide technical guidance to project teams.Specialize in the configuration of Appian's platform; assist in complex configuration on the Appian platform.Ensure on-time delivery of client applications.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field, along with 8+ year's experience in Software Development, especially with the Appian platform.At least 2 years' experience working in pre-Sales or similar (such as Sales Engineering).Worked in the Domain - InsuranceStrong command of Appian Architecture - Technical depth to respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPsRecent experience in a modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, C++, JavaScript, SQL, etc.Ability to strategically problem solve by thinking outside of the boxPlease note:This role is not eligible for sponsorship of any kind at this time.This position may require infrequent travel (to client sites).Team members must be able to accommodate a working schedule of 8:30am - 5:30p EST Monday through Friday.
