Maricopa County is currently seeking a Workday Benefit Systems Analyst. This position will primarily focus on supporting Workday Benefit configuration, reporting, and/or integrations. The System Analyst will work closely with the Workday Benefit Administrator and other Benefits professionals to ensure that benefit data is accurate and that our employees have the best possible benefits experience!About Us

Five years of demonstrated experience of providing production supportin an HR System with emphasis on benefits,which includes troubleshooting, optimizing, gathering requirements, configuring, testing, and communicating/documenting information to technical and non-technical users
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.Other Requirements

Experience supporting and configuring the Workday Benefit module
Experience with Workday as a Benefit Administrator
Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong analytical, attention to detail, troubleshooting, and verbal and written communication skillsJob Contributions
Responsible for the identification, development, and recommendation of business processes, system changes, and improvements as they relate to Benefits
Responsible for full cycle testing, which includes planning, case development, execution, and coordination of testers for configuration, reporting, and/or integrations
Work closely with Benefit Partners to understand and evaluate business needs and processes, and analyze the impact of system changes
In partnership with the Benefit Administrator, conduct needs assessments, evaluate standard operating procedures, model process improvements, develop functional and process requirements, create process flow documentation, participate in implementation testing, and provide training to functional areas and other IT staff
Responsible for production system support, which includes, but is not limited to, escalated research assistance
Assist with integrations, which include gathering requirements, development, testing, and creating and/or updating technical/functional documentation
Assist with reporting, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, migration, and creating and/or updating documentation
Assist with projects such as Open Enrollment and Workday Release
Works with vendors and consultants as needed to problem-solve and transfer knowledge
Creates user documentation to explain how to use WorkdayWorking Conditions
Work is generally performed in an office environment. A Hybrid telework (50% telework and 50% onsite/in the office) and alternate work schedules may be available after an initial training period. Tasks require manual dexterity of the hands and body to operate office equipment and to manage frequent interruptions, time pressures, varying work volumes, and multiple, complex, and unscheduled tasks.Selection Procedure
