Billing and Collections Analyst

We're representing a privately held company with over 40 years of success in their search for Billing & Collections Analyst. They have a strong reputation with some pretty large, recognizable customers across EV, aerospace, and tech industries What makes this a great opportunity is the chance to join an accounting team of 9 people due to growth for an 80-person company with ~30M in revenue, and a mix of family-owned and corporate feel. This is a direct hire, permanent position with a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 with excellent company benefits. Must be within driving distance to Sorrento Valley (92121). Responsibilities:Review customer orders to ensure billing is processed accurately; handle adjustments and rebilling as needed Process invoices and purchase orders, including working within various customer portals, in a timely manner Process customer payments (including credit cards) and apply to outstanding invoices Manage high-volume collections outreach via phone and email to resolve past-due balances Provide customer support related to billing and collections issues; recommend account adjustments and resolve discrepancies and short payments Investigate and resolve invoice disputes by partnering cross-functionally with internal teams to drive issues to resolution Build and maintain strong customer relationships; handle ad hoc communication such as sending invoices, receipts, and status updates Communicate with internal teams regarding customer account status and collection efforts to ensure alignment and real-time visibility Qualifications:2-3+ years of experience in billing, collections, invoicing, and purchase orders Experience working within an ERP system and strong Excel skills Strong customer service skills with a high level of attention to detail College education is a plus, or equivalent work experienceExperience setting credit terms and limits is a strong plus, but not required
