Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Freeport, TX Duration: 1 year and (Temp to Perm) Education: · Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or similar technical fields. · 3-5 years' experience in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineering role preferred Essential Responsibilities: · Ensure compliance to reliability and maintenance work process, Improve the reliability of the plant by analyzing performance and developing strategy that are data driven to optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance program. · Own and implement strategies to monitor equipment reliability and operational readiness. · Ensure equipment mechanical integrity and support site MI efforts. · Engage with production for issues related to equipment breakdowns and provide maintenance solutions. · Manage local capital or expense projects to improve reliability, including project budgets and schedules. · Manage PM execution for mechanical integrity · Acted as turnaround manager to ensure successful turnaround execution. · Support plant operation as necessary · Responsibilities continuous improvement · Support and maintain LTE (lifetime extension) strategy for the Freeport site. · Facilitate RCA''s to trouble shoot process upsets related to equipment. · Ensure Plant Preventive Maintenance program for new installations is established, optimized and functioning in SAP. · Tracks and address performance killers of all failures beyond normal life cycle. · Support full project cycle for capital and expense projects in maintenance aspect. Knowledge and educational level: · The level of education generally necessary to effectively handle the job's essential functions: · Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or similar technical fields · Detail knowledge on chemical plant asset reliability and its improvement techniques. · Detail knowledge on basic principles of the chemical equipment operation. · Knowledge of various equipment (static and rotational) maintenance methods. · Knowledge of the applicable codes and technical requirements under OSHA PSM mechanical integrity program Required level of experiences: · 3-5 years' experience in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineering role preferred.
