Join us and make a meaningful difference in how policies, coaching and talent initiatives impact our business.ResponsibilitiesHow You'll Make an Impact Administer Spectrum policies fairly and consistently across your area of responsibility Communicate and implement policy and procedure changes to employees and management Support employee relations through counseling, dispute resolution and performance management Conduct investigations related to employee matters and manage safety regulation processes Oversee leave of absence programs, transitional work and accommodations processes Lead benefits meetings and provide updates on health and welfare programs Deliver training to employees and supervisors on benefits, policies, procedures and harassment prevention Ensure accurate HRIS and payroll entries for your client group Perform audit and compliance tasks including review of reports and payroll information Maintain employee records in accordance with state and federal requirements Participate in HR committees to resolve employment challenges as needed and assist with the management and execution of bonus plans, merit processes and special reports Support annual budget planning and recruitment efforts as needed All other duties as requestedWorking Conditions Office environment Travel required MinimalQualificationsWhat You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience Experience 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience Skills Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally Ability to interact with all levels of management and personnel Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure Demonstrated skills with PC and MS Office Ability to prioritize, organize and show initiative Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and wage and hour laws Knowledge of staffing, employment and employee relations practices Consultative, coaching and analytical skills Knowledge of cable television products and services a plusPreferred Qualifications Education Human Resource Professional certifications such as PHR or SPHR Experience Experience supporting high-volume, fast-paced environments Experience working face-to-face with large employee populations, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust Proven ability to navigate employee relations issues and handle difficult conversations with professionalismSkills Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards preferred
