Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hawthorne, CA, for a CNC Mill Machinist and Programmer. The individual will program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components based on blueprints or design specifications. They will interpret technical drawings, select appropriate tools, conduct inspections to ensure quality, and maintain equipment for optimal performance. The role also includes troubleshooting, collaboration with the engineering team, and adhering to safety and quality standards during production. Qualifications Proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and CAM software operationHands-on experience in CNC machining, milling, and tooling setupAbility to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T principlesStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of material properties and machining processesKnowledge of quality control processes, including inspection tools and techniquesProblem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine and programming issuesCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspaceStrong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departmentsRelevant technical certifications or a degree in machining, manufacturing, or engineering is highly desirablePrevious experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is a plus
