This role requires a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Develop accurate diagnoses, prognoses, and intervention strategies based on assessment findings. Therapeutic Intervention Design: Create and adapt individualized therapeutic plans aimed at alleviating patient impairments and enhancing functional abilities to support daily activities. Health Promotion: Advocate for injury and disability prevention while promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness for patients of all ages. Consultation and Education: Share expertise with colleagues and the community while contributing to ongoing research and advancements in physical therapy practices. Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and current documentation of patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Timely submission of charges for services is mandatory.Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Outpatient and Orthopedic Care. Completion of training in accordance with the standards set by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association. Graduation from an AMA-APTA accredited school of physical therapy. Membership or eligibility for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy. Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado or a permit from the licensing board pending licensure examination.
