Sr. Corporate Loan Processor

Position OverviewThe Sr. Corporate Loan Processor is responsible for obtaining and verifying necessary documentation for underwriting the loan file and communicating directly with the customer and/or Loan Officer to obtain documentation for final loan approval. The role works with dedicated branches at CrossCountry Mortgage. Job ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with various companies to obtain vendor information, including verification of employment, title commitment, and payoff information. Verify vendor orders are completed and returned, and invoices are received and documented. Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, income and assets as required by the loan program before submitting the file to underwriting. Obtain a complete loan package before submitting to underwriting. Verify all required documentation in the file is complete and accurate and identify any potential issues before submitting to underwriting. Prepare a loan approval summary for missing documentation before submitting to underwriting for review by the Loan Officer/Branch Manager. Transfer a completely documented file to the underwriter to be approved or denied. Directly communicate with customers to obtain missing documentation required for the loan. Consistently manage a pipeline of 40 active loans and fund a minimum of 27 units per month. Manage pipeline within allotted turn times, prioritizing loans based on the department’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and estimated close dates. Participate in branch pipeline calls, as necessary. Complete all training classes assigned by CrossCountry Mortgage before the due date. Review loans for compliance within RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg.B, and other mortgage‐related regulations. Prepare proper disclosures and re‑disclosures as required by regulations. Complete required loan submission, re‑submission, and closing checklists. Document all communication related to the loan application in the LOS system’s conversation log. Assist in coverage of co‑worker’s pipelines when needed. Assist closing, secondary, and servicing to obtain documentation needed to clear outstanding suspense items for personal loans or loans worked on by other team members. Modify work schedule and occasionally work overtime as needed to fulfill responsibilities based on business needs. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent. 3–5 years of residential mortgage processing experience. Knowledge of RESPA guidelines, all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, RegulationZ and RegulationB requirements, and loan documents. Previous experience with Encompass. Excellent math and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Skilled at prioritizing to meet deadlines. Proficient knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
