Working closely with Client Executives/Account Executives, underwriters, and internal support teams, you will manage a portfolio of energy accounts, ensuring all aspects of coverage, renewals, and policy servicing are handled with accuracy and efficiency. Your role is essential in maintaining strong client and market relationships and helping to ensure client satisfaction throughout the insurance lifecycle.What will you be doing?Client RelationshipAssist Client Executives/Account Executives by being a technical resource for both prospects and active clientsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.Attend client meetings (virtually or in person) as required.Market RelationshipsMaintain and develop relationships with key energy property and renewable marketsEstablish and follow renewal protocols 90 days in advance of renewal to manage client expectationsConfirm any additional information needed (supplemental applications, etc) prior to the information request being sent to the clientRenewal ProcessResponsible for and working with a client executive / account executive to develop the renewal strategy for assigned accounts and preparing the Pre-Renewal Strategy Presentation to present to the clientRequest and review client's exposure information for accuracy prior to submitting it to the marketCreate Coverage Specifications for markets including five years of exposure informationReview all quotes for accuracy and request full policy/endorsement wording, when neededProvide lead terms to the following/ quota share and any excess marketsSchedule renewal update calls on a weekly basis 30 days prior to renewalNegotiate the best coverage/price for the client and outline results of the renewal in detail to present to the clientEnsure any quote subjectivities are metAdditional responsibilitiesRespond quickly to client calls and emailsTrack receipt of policiesContract reviewProvide market news/updates to clients throughout the yearProvide budget guidanceWhat are we looking for?Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience as a broker in a retail environment.Licensing:Active Property insurance license (U.S. state-specific)Skills:Exceptional customer service and communication skills, promoting a collaborative and positive work environmentSelf-motivated, action-oriented, strong organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and priority managemento Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:Designations such as CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent.Experience with large commercial accounts.Experience working with London and Bermuda wholesale brokers/marketsFamiliarity with surplus lines and E&S markets.Compensation and BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this role is $150,000-$225,000, depending on experience and location.In addition to a competitive base salary, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
