Our US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Multi Axis CNC Machine Set up & Operator.Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:Set up and operate CNC Machines, our machines run between 3-5 axis and include milling machines, surface grinding, and lathes. Current machine openings include Combi, Mazak, Anca, Hermle, and Mori machinesConduct complete set-ups with minor program editingInterpretation of engineering drawings including geometric tolerancesQuality assurance and labor reporting via Windows based computer systemSkills/Qualifications:Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience or 1 year experience combined with appropriate trade school education in the field of grinding, turning, and milling.Intermediate math skillsFamiliarity with Heidenhain controls desiredUtilize electronic and mechanical precision measuring instrumentsMust work well with others in a team environmentStrong attention to detail with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic and self-motivatedKnowledge of G & M Codes or basic programming a plusProficient in Microsoft Windows platformThis is a full-time position that may require regular overtime based on workflow demands, including long shifts and mandatory weekend work rotations.Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently, as well as with others, in a team environment.
