APi Group is seeking an Internal Audit Analyst to join our team in New Brighton, MN. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who is interested in internal audit, risk management, and SOX compliance within a dynamic global organization.In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support the company’s internal control environment, perform SOX control testing, and assist with audit and risk management initiatives across the organization. You will also contribute to process improvement efforts that strengthen internal controls and enhance operational effectiveness.This role offers broad exposure to business processes and leadership across APi Group and provides a strong foundation for building a career in internal audit, risk, or finance.What You Will Do Build strong, collaborative relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders across the organizationPerform SOX control testing, including planning, execution, and evaluation of control design and operating effectivenessIdentify and recommend process improvements to address internal control gaps and improve efficiencyAssist in maintaining and updating the company’s risk and control matrix (RCM)Conduct follow-up procedures to monitor remediation efforts and partner with leadership to resolve control deficienciesSupport special projects and initiatives assigned by the Audit Committee and company leadershipOversee and review updates to process documentation and flowchartsAssist with audit engagements, including operational audits and other internal audit projectsBasic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldKnowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and the COSO Internal Control FrameworkFamiliarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) StandardsStrong analytical, organizational, and written communication skillsAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 10–20%Preferred Qualifications Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA.Experience in using data analysis tools in audit work is preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.Benefits and CompensationThis role will be in our New Brighton office. The pay range is $ $51,500-$77,200, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus target of 5% based on company performance.
