Lead SQL Database Developer

Direct Hire | $115K–$130KWe are working with a client seeking a Lead SQL Database Developer to help drive the design, development, and support of enterprise-level SQL Server and data integration solutions across the organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building scalable, high-performing database and ETL solutions that support reporting, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives.This individual will play a key role in the company’s SQL Server environment, partnering closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable data solutions aligned with long-term technology goals.Design, develop, and support Microsoft SQL Server database solutionsKey Responsibilities:Build and maintain complex T-SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, and viewsDevelop and support SSIS packages, ETL processes, and data integrationsTroubleshoot database performance, reliability, and scalability issuesTranslate business requirements into technical database and integration solutionsLead database-focused development efforts and provide mentorship to other developersEstablish and promote development standards, best practices, and reusable design patternsReview database designs and code to ensure consistency, quality, and maintainabilityCollaborate with technical and business teams on data architecture and system integration initiativesSupport secure data handling and enterprise compliance standardsPreferred Background:Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSISExperience designing and supporting enterprise-level database and ETL solutionsBackground serving as a technical lead, senior developer, or mentorStrong understanding of database design, data modeling, and integration architectureAbility to troubleshoot complex data and performance challengesStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teamsMust be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship assistance
