This is an internal job posting for Current DMV Employees only ******** Responsibilities Of The Pee Dee Regional ManagerAssess branch office, contact center, mobile, and web email operations, and performance by visiting offices to ensure adherence to policies/procedures. Provide guidance and support to branch office and contact center management teams with interpretation and implementation of policies/processes.Assists with identifying training curriculum and needs. Coordinates training with Examiner Training Unit and Organizational Change & Alignment.Coordinates with appropriate directorate to resolve customer service, technology, compliance, and administrative issues. Reports any issues or obstacles that could deter delivery of efficient customer service. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships both internal and external to the agency to ensure call resolution, customer satisfaction, and improved processes.Responsible for processing Success Factors, expense claims, regional award nominations, and approving shopping carts for branch offices and relief examiners.Research (AAMVA, other states) to identify new technologies, programs, and procedures to improve customer, as well as coordinate with external agencies/stakeholders (i.e. counties) to resolve issues and improve customer service. Assists with facilities planning - maintenance and capital improvements.Any other duties as assigned by manager.Minimum RequirementsMinimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience . An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience maybe accepted with prior approval.Agency Requirements Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include finger printing. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license.Additional RequirementsExtensive knowledge of DMV Office policies and procedures, South Carolina motor vehicle laws and regulations and state employment procedures.Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively.Ability to design and organize office space and equipment for optimal usage and production.This management position reports directly to the Branch Services Officer with limited supervision. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as a team member and who exercises discretion and judgement in making sound decisions.Incumbent will work in a climate controlled office setting as well as attend management related workshops and meetings as necessary. The position will require statewide travel, is on call 24/7, and subject to working beyond normal schedule in order to complete job assignments or address emergency situations. Reviews programs and processes to determine compatibility with the DMV’s mission; recommends program changes.Interprets and implements policies and rules of programs administered by DMV.Investigates complaints, takes appropriate action to resolve and prevent future occurrences to ensure accountability.
