Candidates for the position of Interior Designer should be committed to providing exceptional client service, solving complex problems, creating design solutions with technical expertise and a focus on client objectives.The Interior Designer duties will include preparation of design solutions, preparation of schematic design, design development and construction documents, selection of interior finishes, maintaining the finish and product library, maintaining vendor relationships, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and team members within a collaborative, team environment.RequirementsEducationMinimum Bachelor of Interior Design or Bachelor of Interior ArchitectureExperience7-15 years of relevant experienceQualifications And SkillsCreative design thinking, preparation of interior design concepts and presentationsPreparation of schematic design, design development, and construction documentation in REVIT – including preparation of Life Safety Plans, Floor Plans, Equipment Plans, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Finish Plans, and Interior ElevationsSelection of interior finishes, FFE, and furniture including technical dataMaintain vendor relationships and our library with current interior finishes and product literatureProficiency in REVIT, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative SuiteLumion, Enscape, and Bluebeam are beneficial but not requiredStrong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detailExceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to engage, collaborate and problem solve with clients, consultants, contractors and team membersAbility to perform daily duties independently and collaboratively to produce quality work product within structured delivery processExperience in one or more of the following market sectors: Commercial, Healthcare, Veterinary Medicine, Multi-Family, and/ or HospitalityFox Architecture is an architectural, planning, and interior design practice with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and design solutions with technical expertise and a strong project management delivery model that achieve client objectives.
