Solutions Engineer

We're an early-stage startup growing quickly, working directly with founders, operators, and mid-market businesses. The Role We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to help turn customer ideas into production-ready software. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their business, design technical solutions, build applications using the Path platform, and ensure every project launches successfully. You'll partner closely with sales, product, and engineering throughout implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building software, solving customer problems, and wearing multiple hats. Every project is different, and you'll have significant ownership from kickoff through launch. What You'll Do Lead technical implementations for new customers Meet directly with customers to understand business requirements Build websites, web applications, AI workflows, internal tools, and automations Configure integrations with third-party systems Build responsive React-based front ends Work with databases and APIs Troubleshoot technical issues and guide customers through implementation Collaborate with engineering to improve the Path platform Help create reusable templates, components, and implementation best practices Train customers on new solutions after launch What We're Looking For 2-5 years of software development or solutions engineering experience Strong React experience Experience with TypeScript Experience working with REST APIs Comfortable working with SQL and PostgreSQL Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong customer communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excited about startups and AI Nice to Have TanStack Router or TanStack Query AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) Authentication systems Modern frontend architecture Experience building customer-facing software Startup experience You’ll regularly work with: React TypeScript TanStack PostgreSQL Google Cloud Platform (GCP) AI models and APIs Git What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, you'll: Successfully launch your first customer projects Lead implementation meetings independently Become a trusted technical advisor for customers Help improve our implementation process and platform Contribute reusable components and best practices Compensation & Benefits Salary: $90,000 Stock option grant Health benefits Flexible PTO Hybrid office in Austin, Texas Direct access to founders and engineering leadership Opportunity to grow into senior engineering or technical leadership roles Why Join Path?
