Chemical Specialist/Inventory Cycle Counter
Job DescriptionAccurately weighing raw materials, liquids, and solids.Storing, retrieving, kitting, and monitoring chemicals used in production.Verifying shelf life (expiration date) and mix ratios on material.Ensure correct labeling is on each container.Report any low inventory to planner.Verify scale is functional and calibrated daily.Verify temperature and humidity are within guidelines in room before kitting,Ensure proper use of PPE while handling any chemicals.Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or assigned part numbers and/or locations dailyAssists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepanciesEnsures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligationsReporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.Assist in stockroom duties as neededOther duties as required and assignedJob QualificationsProlonged standing, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching below knees, and reaching andlifting above shoulders.High School Diploma or equivalentNatural born U.S. Citizen or Green Card HolderSpeak EnglishAbility to read and understand standard and metric units of measuresMicrosoft Excel – BasicAttention to detailBasic understanding and use of Microsoft Excel.Basic understanding and comfort with inventory software.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsCTL Aerospace will provide a pay rate commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.
