JavaScript Developer- Remote

ECS is looking for a Javascript Developer, providing support to our national laboratory customer based in Albuquerque, NM. This position is fully remote. The selected JavaScript Developer will support our Mission Customer Engagement team that empowers mission-focused scientific and engineering communities. We are dedicated to delivering essential support through our diverse capabilities and resources including application engineering solutions, a high-end mission service desk, and long-term mass storage systems. Our commitment is to actively engage with our mission customers, to identify emerging needs and to invest in opportunities that advance our collective mission.On any given day you may be asked to collaborate with others to investigate, plan, gather requirements, design, develop, test, document, analyze problems, and support software systems and applications.Additional Duties May Be AssignedDevelop high-performance web applications using Javscript(React, Vue.js, Node)Work closely with customers and end-users to define and document application requirements;Test, debug, and refactor frontend and backend web application code;Translate detailed design into application systems;Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product;Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation; enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality;Provide interactive issue troubleshooting, following user issue tickets through to resolution, documenting resolutions in a knowledge base, and working with application and system owners to identify advanced solutions.
