Part Time Youth Soccer Coach

POSITION OVERVIEW:Huntsville City FC is hiring part-time, youth soccer coaches for youth summer camps, clinics, and other programs in the Huntsville area throughout the calendar year. Coaches must have a passion for the game and the ability to channel it in a positive manner for coaching youth players of all levels. Ideally, candidates will be looking to grow their coaching careers.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:In-person coaching and program administration for camps and clinicsAbility to create and execute a fun and creative training curriculumCreate an inclusive atmosphere for all athletes while ensuring safety and well-being of those athletesAssist with set-up and breakdown of eventsOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent educationExperience in playing and coaching soccerExperience working with youthMust be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.Strong communication skills; both verbal and written communicationMust be self-motivated and passionate about coaching soccerMust be ambitious and interested in growing and developing within coaching professionalExcellent organizational skills and attentional to detailStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to prioritizeAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityAbility to make sound decisions and exercise discretion with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environmentAbility to coach all levels of youth soccer playersBackground check and drug screening is required.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Various weather conditions including extreme hear and inclement weatherWork varies based on schedule and business needs.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Occasional bending, lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.Ability to demonstrate techniques and certain training exercises as needed.
