Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager for a consulting engagement. This role will focus on month-end close processes, financial reporting, and SOX testing. The position offers a chance to contribute significantly to financial operations with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end financial processes, including recording journal entries and performing reconciliations. Conduct and review balance sheet account reconciliations, addressing and resolving discrepancies. Provide analytical reviews and fluctuation analyses to support periodic financial activities. Identify internal control gaps and implement necessary controls to ensure accurate financial reporting. Qualifications: Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month end close Minimum of 2 years of public accounting SOX testing Have been through a system implementation Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA
