Data Engineer II

Deloitte is seeking a Data Engineer II to support the design, development, and delivery of data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. Team members collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a quantitative field3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows3+ years of experience using SQL, Python, and PySpark for data ingestion, transformation, and automation1+ years of experience using Palantir Foundry, including Pipeline Builder and Ontology-based data modeling1+ years of experience monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and supporting data quality and system reliabilityAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred:Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a quantitative field1+ years of experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow1+ years of experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Amazon Redshift1+ years of experience with version control and continuous integration tools1+ years of experience supporting data quality, metadata, and data lineage processes1+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environmentsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,400 to $140,600.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
