This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.The Mechanical Engineering Co-Op is responsible for working side by side with engineers to tackle day-to-day engineering tasks. This includes performing invaluable testing and data collection. The Co-op will also be responsible for developing prototype test fixtures, test equipment, and production fixtures. This will involve modeling designs in CAD software, generating drawings, coordinating fabrication, testing, and documentation.What You'll Do:Design and model various fixtures and test equipment in CAD softwareFabricate fixtures and test equipmentManage small-scale projectsPerform high tech testing under Engineer supervisionCollect data and generate reportsFabricate and test prototypesWhat We Seek:Must have experience with CAD software (SolidWorks)Understanding of general engineering practicesAbility to collect data, analyze and prepare reportsDesired Major(s) & Graduation Year:Mechanical EngineeringGraduating December 2026, May 2027, or 2028Eligibility:Must be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in June, working through December.Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op programEntegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
