Casino Golf Course Superintendent

Oversees and maintains the golf facilities, landscaping, and other infrastructure, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment as well as the best public relations. Plans, seeks approval, and implements special events that enhance revenues. Maintains an awareness of the supplies, tools, and equipment needed to operate on a routine basis. Assists with ordering and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment. Conducts routine inspections of all facilities and equipment, assuring that they are in working order, safe, and accessible. Encourages participation from staff. Develops ideas for innovation. Deals with the public and makes presentations as requested in a professional, courteous manner. Supervises and assures preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment assuring for continuing availability of the equipment and for safety. Provides training or makes arrangements for staff training and as needed assuring for professional development and for safety. Schedules work assignments assuring that all required maintenance and other projects and activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS This position operates in a working environment that is subject to hazards associated with use of pesticides and general landscape care products, basic hand and power tools, and gardening/mowing equipment. This position generally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, basic hand, power tools, and mowing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as all outside contacts. Ability to prepare and maintain clear and concise reports and records. Requires physical strength, stamina and agility. Possession of a valid driver's license.
