Structural Engineer - Springfield, OH

Are you a Structural Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience looking to take your career to the next level? An Indiana-based firm is expanding its presence in the Dayton area and is seeking talented engineers to join their growing team in a hybrid position. Our client offers a broad range of projects as they are licensed in all 50 states! This role offers the opportunity to lead structural design and manage projects for large local clients, supporting the firm's continued growth in the region. In this position, you will work on various building structures, including steel, concrete, timber, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP), and masonry. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, maintaining client relationships, ensuring code compliance, and providing construction administration support. The ideal candidates will have a PE license or be actively pursuing licensure. Key Responsibilities: Preparestructuraldrawings, specifications, and calculations Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications Conductstructuralassessments and ensure compliance with IBC codes Oversee construction processes and provide site inspections Perform local travel to Dayton-based projects, with occasional trips to the Indiana office Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree instructural, civil, or architecturalengineering (Master’s is a plus) 4 to 6 years of experience instructuraldesign and project management Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD Strong knowledge of IBC codes and construction methods PE license or working toward licensure Excellent communication and project management skills.
