From consumer PR and social media to integrated earned, owned, and paid advertising campaigns, we help brands get attention the old- fashioned way -- earn it.Our team brings integrity, intelligence, and creative energy—and we live by three core values:Happy - A place where people genuinely want to come to workDaring - We value hard work and bold creativity that moves the needlePeople - We take care of each other and invest in growthDESCRIPTIONThe Senior Account Executive is a full-time position, reporting to the Account Director(s) and Vice President(s), and mentoring and managing Account Executive(s), Associate Account Executive(s) and Account Coordinator(s), and is responsible for leading PR and Social Media initiatives for their accounts.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAccount ManagementOversee, mentor and manage AEs, AAEs, and ACs, working closely with them to establish deadlines and timelines, map out work to be done and review work before it is shared with another supervisorEnsure account admin initiatives are running smoothly, inclusive of regular coverage updates, monitoring notes and all deliverables are provided on time. Demonstrate initiative in managing the team’s day-to-day client contact, including participating and leading client status callsManage day to day execution of account campaigns, including all account deadlines and work with team to achieve or exceed themBe able to anticipate and overcome challenges or obstacles on accounts - working closely with team members to ensure deadlines are not missed.Manage weekly team touchbases to ensure projects are on schedule and teams are set up for successOversee OOP and fee budgets to ensure we come under estimatesManage all client communication around account campaign execution, proactively answering questions and/or following up on approvals.Proactively take ownership of account programming and deliverables, both from the annual plan, as well as reactive assignments brought forth by clients.Assist in the development and final approval of all client materials and reporting.Work with account teams to develop press materials, including press releases and fact sheets, demonstrating a solid understanding of client’s positioning and key messagesWork with the Vice President and Account Director on account planning, including campaign and budget development.Demonstrate initiative in leading the planning process and identifying initiatives/opportunities for your accounts (1 opportunistic opportunity per account each quarter).Effectively present ideas to clients and potential clients.Earned Media TacticsYou're a hands on media relations professional who enjoys pitching, building relationships, and earning hitsManage the media relations outreach strategy, while making sure teams are hitting KPIs and flagging any roadblocks + solutions to reach goalsSecure an ongoing stream of tier 1 coverageInfluencer TacticsBe the expert in influencer trends and ensure team is knowledgeable about the landscapeReview all contracts and content briefs, working with Account Director to secure approvalsManage team members as they oversee influencer relationships, including research, vetting, contract negotiations, content creation, approvals and reporting.
