About The RoleAs Product Designer II, you will enhance the customer experience and drive business growth through design. You will craft user-centric solutions from concept to implementation and create visual identity systems, data visualizations, and illustrations that facilitate feedback and iteration.What You’ll DoWork iteratively with a balanced team to deliver customer first design solutions while influencing product strategy and creating experiences that align with business goals and needsLead balanced teams with User-Centric Design practices, focusing on end users' needs, wants and limitations at all stages of the design and product development lifecycleFacilitate the process of Design Discovery and Framing by partnering with research to drive customer learnings and insights, create ideation testing prototypes and provide valuable synthesis and recommendations with the balanced teamsDevelop visual identity systems, data visualizations, visual designs and illustrations for feedback and testing to drive adoptable outcomesDemonstrate design expertise by helping the working teams navigate product vision, high-level business priorities and desired outcomesCollaborate effectively outside of your balanced team to ensure a cohesive design language across ecosystems and contribute to the overall design visionBe accountable for all design problems, balancing business goals with user needsFoster collaboration and transparency within the balanced teams and with key stakeholdersContinuously learn and seek to be transparent and creative in problem solving while pursuing greatnessEffectively communicate design work and rationale for design decisions internally Additional tasks may be assignedRequiredWhat Skills You’ll Have3-6 years of professional design experienceBachelor’s degree in Design or a relevant field of studyProfessional knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and toolsStrong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills, visual storytelling, research and prototypesSolid visual craftsmanship, use of established design principles and interaction patternsAbility to create high fidelity design prototypes, mockups and other storytelling artifacts for various audiences and stakeholdersProfessional visual and written communication that articulates design work and supporting design decisionsExperience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and MiroUse of research tools, such as dScout and DovetailWorking understanding of multiple research methods and toolsAbility to proactively deliver design expertise by helping the balance team navigate product vision, high-level business priorities and desired outcomesExperience building products for Android, iOS and/or webExperience in design led workshop facilitationUnderstanding of how to use and build a design system PreferredExperience in retail, merchandising, supply chain, logistics or complex systems
