Job TitleThis job will be accepting job applications until the position is filled.Hourly: $19.70 - $19.70Department: Health & Welfare, Livability & TourismDivision: Office of Children, Youth & FamilyFLSA: Non-ExemptJob DescriptionThis role will work closely with the Special Events Manager and Film and Photography Manager and relieve a small team of employees of clerical work and minor administrative duties.Examples of DutiesWorks with Tourism Managers to review Special Events and Film and Photography permit applications.Organizes and maintains file system for Special Events and Film and Photography permit applications.Interacts with applicants to request additional information if applications are incomplete or additional documents are required.Utilizes the Government Portal software to assist with data entry and database management.Documents the key discussions, decisions, and action items that occur during meetings for Special Events Committee and Film and Photography activities.Updates citizen facing and internal calendars for Special Events and Film and Photography activities.Performs other related duties as assigned.Basic QualificationsValid driver's license.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software.Current college student pursuing bachelor's or master's degree.Available to work 10 to 15 hours per week for 8 weeks from June August.
