Candidates must demonstrate an excellent ability to prioritize and handle tasks efficiently. If you are a motivated professional looking to work in an enjoyable, collegial work environment, JSL is the place for you! DutiesAssist attorneys in all stages of the litigation process from onset through trial.Assist with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks, organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and maintaining firm trial calendars and deadlines.Oversee organization, maintenance, and appropriate utilization of documents and other case materials.Coordination of e-filing and serving documents on parties.Assist with drafting and responding to written discovery.Perform analytical tasks, including preparing witnesses for interviews and depositions, draft memoranda and summarize documents and deposition transcripts. Skills & CompetenciesAbility to multitask and prioritize workflow for the firm’s short-term goals and long-term success.Efficient time management skills.Good computer skills.Proficient with Microsoft 365 products: Microsoft Office, Outlook, OneDrive.Proficient with Westlaw. Qualifications and Prior Experience3+ years’ paralegal experience.Experience working with judicial assistants/clerks and assisting attorneys with hearings or trial preparation.Paralegal certificate from certified paralegal program preferred. Salary:From $75,000.
