Perm - Physician - Anesthesiology Location: Colorado Springs, CO UCHealth Medical Group is actively seeking a full-time, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified General Anesthesiologist to join a highly collaborative and expanding anesthesia team. Position Overview: As a General Anesthesiologist, you will become an integral part of a dedicated team of over 50 employed anesthesiologists working across diverse clinical settings, including Level I and Level III Trauma Centers and outpatient surgical facilities. You will provide comprehensive anesthetic care for a broad spectrum of cases, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver anesthesia services across various surgical specialties including trauma, obstetrics, spine, general, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology, urology, and gastrointestinal procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Engage in a manageable and equitable call rotation designed to promote work-life balance. Maintain and enhance procedural and clinical skills across high-acuity and diverse case types. Participate in mentorship and professional development initiatives with experienced colleagues; leadership and teaching roles are optional. Qualifications & Certifications: Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Anesthesiology. Current DEA registration. ACLS and BLS certifications. Eligible to support VMS certification requirements. Willingness to work across multiple facility settings, including trauma centers and outpatient surgical centers. Ability to maintain and expand skills in a high-acuity, diverse case environment. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive annual base salary ranging from $469,000 to $520,000, complemented by a $20,000 starting bonus. Additional income potential through extra shifts and a Quality Incentive Bonus of up to $30,000 per year. Hourly pay rate of $19.50. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
