Medical Data Analyst (batch file, SQL)
These files need to be received and converted into a usable, searchable database for analytics purposes by Medicaid/HHSC programs, into the OMOP EHR database architecture. Without such a database, the real-time files will not work for the numerous use cases that are being developed.
The two forms of clinical data being sent to HHSC, as part of the Health Information Exchange (HIE) Connectivity Project, are Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) messages and Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA). This data is delivered to HHSC in individual .xml and .csv files and is currently coming through a single source.

Vendor focus for candidates:
Strong SQL experience
Medicaid or Public Health experience
Good understanding of HL7 V2 and V3 data structures
OMAP knowledge/experience:
The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM model for Electronic Health Records (HER)
Azure cloud development platform experience
Corepoint or Rhapsody experience
Python experience
ETL experience (Informatica preferred)
