Overview
In this role you contribute to an advanced missile and sensor development program, guiding system-level requirements and analysis from concept to production. You will work under the Lead Systems Engineer, coordinating with the program manager, engineering leads, suppliers, and customers to reduce risk and ensure mission success. You drive system trades, Conops, architecture development, and verification planning across the lifecycle. You will lead critical milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, FCA) and collaborate across teams to balance performance, affordability, and risk. This is a chance to shape the program through rigorous systems engineering in a high-stakes defense environment.

Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with 7+ yearsExtensive missile design, development, and testing experienceExperience with CONOPS, trade studies, system analyses, and architecture developmentExperience with risk and opportunity managementDoD tactical system development program experience, customer interface, and major design reviewsExperience with SRR, PDR, CDR, FCA and verification planningExcellent oral and written communication skillsMS Office Suite experienceSecret clearance to startcollaboration in cross-functional teamsclear communicationrisk-aware decision makingIBM DOORSRhapsody/Cameo or similarGPS/sensor systems
