Our ICU is also the campus code blue team.+ 24/7 Critical Care MD coverage on the unit.+ Our team of nurses and doctors use a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach to treat our high acute patient population.+ Our Leadership team is comprised of a Nurse Manager and 6 Assistant Nurse Managers who are clinically experienced and very hands-on. Our Charge Nurse does not take patients.+ ICU incorporates Rapid Response coverage and has a strong collaboration with Vascular Access. Cross training is part of the growth culture.+ We strongly encourage continuing education, certifications, and professional growth.+ We pride ourselves on a strong teamwork, solid recognition, staff that treat each other like family and leadership that is always visible and supportive.**Schedule:** Full-time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts**Shift:** Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation)**Primary Job Responsibilities:**+ Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.+ Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.+ Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.+ Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.+ Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.**What You'll Need to Succeed:**+ Associate of Science degree in Nursing+ Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification+ Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification**Physical Requirements:** _(Please click the link below to view work requirements)_Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/49cf4xnf**Pay Range:**$31.53 - $52.24_This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances._**Category:** Registered Nurse**Organization:** AdventHealth Altamonte Springs**Schedule:** Full time**Shift:** Night**Req ID:** 151573017
