Communications Operations Manager
We’re looking for Communications Operations Manager to join our Growth team.The main focus for the role: сentralize ownership of notifications to streamline execution, reduce cross‑team overhead, and improve the consistency and quality of user communications.Key ResponsibilitiesIntake requests from product teams, clarify requirements, and run the full notification setup cycle — from task definition to launchManage templates in Git: create them, verify configuration correctness, validate prioritiesAssign tasks to designers for email templates, write specs for analysts on SQL queries, verify copy with copywritersIndependently write basic SQL queries for simple casesWork on notification strategies: improve existing ones, design new onesMonitor deliverability and send-cost metrics, respond to anomaliesProvide support in the notification-support channel — consultations and incident triageAdditional: build and prioritize the backlog of improvements for notification-service and the mobile appRequirements And ExpectationsExperience with messaging or notification systems (push, email, SMS), or a basic understanding of how such systems workGit at basic level – commits, pull requests, and config reviewsBasic SQL — sufficient for writing simple queriesAbility to structure requirements and delegate tasks to design, copyrwiting and analytics teamsAttention to detail: templates, priorities, textsSelf-direction and willingness to be the single point of contact for all notification-related questionsReadiness to learn and adapt to new systems and instrumentsOptional, But Nice To HaveExperience with deliverability metrics (delivery rate, open rate, bounce rate)Experience with Jira and backlog managementAdvanced SQLExperience with CDP / Marketing CRM platforms (e.g. OneSignal, Customer.io Platform: Automation, Data, Content Creation , CleverTap, Braze, RudderStack)
