If you’re eager to join a fun, flavor-filled company where your ideas matter and your passion for sweets shine, Promise confections is the perfect place for you!Job SummaryAs an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for compiling critical accounts payable information and working across functions to provide support including Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial to ensure coordinated communication with vendors regarding payments and other matters.Job RequirementsExperience Required: minimum of 3 years in accounting or related field, with emphasis in Account Payable and vendor managementEducation Required: minimum associate degree in accounting, Finance or business-related fieldEssential FunctionsReview and process vendor invoices or credit memos in an accurate and timely mannerWork to automate and streamline the procure-to-pay process leveraging technology where feasibleWork closely with Treasurer to optimize deployment of cash across vendor baseMaintain an organized electronic filing system of documentationUtilize existing ERP systems Assist other Team Members in the department from time to time, as needed, to ensure efficient operation of the departmentPrepare and distribute supplemental reporting to the financial statements monthly for management or as neededProvide accounting support to Supply Chain, Operations, & Management teamsAssist external auditors in the quarterly and annual audit process as requestedKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and experience with various ERP such as Business Central, Great Plains, Quick Books, Self-directed and proactive with a propensity to problem solve and simplifyHigh sense of urgency with excellent time management skillsOutstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with othersExcellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detailSelf-motivated with a positive attitudeIntegrity beyond reproachBenefitsCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience and bonus plan based on business performance.
