This position will be a contract and remote.Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.What You’ll DoManage end-to-end client billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreementsPerform billing reconciliation and funding settlements, resolving discrepancies and collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersMonitor and support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-upPartner with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes in a professional and timely mannerAssist in developing and implementing new processes and workflows, particularly in support of a growing or evolving functionMaintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policiesPrepare and analyze account reconciliations, identifying variances and recommending corrective actionsContribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operationsCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and data integrityAssist with audit support, providing documentation and explanations as neededRequiredWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to billing, accounts receivable, or financial operationsStrong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting practicesExperience in insurance, billing operations, or accounting environmentsProven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficientlyExperience working in process development or continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in new or evolving rolesProficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelPreferredStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetFamiliarity with banking, treasury functions, or cash management is a plusPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.$40.00-$42.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
