From temporary point-of-purchase displays to permanent retail fixtures, our work combines engineering, creativity, fabrication, and problem-solving to bring concepts to life in real retail environments.We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into manufacturable products and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two projects are exactly the same.This is not a traditional “sit behind a calculator all day” engineering role. Success in this position comes from creativity, practical thinking, strong CAD skills, and the ability to develop real-world solutions that look great and can be efficiently manufactured.What You’ll DoCreate 3D CAD models, engineering layouts, production drawings, and assembly documentationTranslate sketches, concepts, and client direction into manufacturable retail displaysCollaborate closely with design, sales, production, vendors, and project management teamsDevelop creative solutions for materials, assembly methods, shipping, and functionalityPrepare files for fabrication, prototyping, and vendor productionSupport prototype assembly, mockups, and product developmentParticipate in site surveys and field measurements as neededAssist with continuous improvement of engineering standards and workflowsTypical Materials & ProcessesProjects may involve one or more of the following:Wood / MDF / plywoodSheet metal and structural steelPlastics and acrylicsPrinted graphicsLighting and electrical componentsGlassVacuum formingInjection molded components3D printed parts and prototypesRequired SkillsExperience with 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similarAbility to create organized manufacturing and assembly drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong communication and teamwork skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficePreferred SkillsAutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting softwareAdobe Illustrator and/or PhotoshopRendering or visualization experience (3ds Max, KeyShot, Blender, etc.)Experience in retail displays, fixtures, cabinetry, fabrication, or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with prototyping and 3D printingWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who:Enjoys building and creatingThinks visually and mechanicallyCan balance creativity with manufacturabilityTakes pride in producing clean, organized workWants to contribute to a growing and evolving engineering teamEnjoys seeing their ideas become real physical products used in stores across the countryBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid Time OffJob TypeFull-Time In Person High Point, NC
