Your Assignment at a Glance The GAP Specialist, under the leadership of the Team Leader, Claim Adjudication, will support the process to increase the profitability of the company's finance and insurance (F&I) products and services provided to automobile dealers. The Specialist will 1) provide superior customer service to dealers, consumers, lienholders, and other customers, 2) adjust and process claims for GAP products, and 3) settle claims pursuant to company guidelines. The GAP Specialist will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications within GSA. What We Need From YouFor each claim, verify contract information and determine coverage for vehicle specified. Determine validity and reason for total loss with proper documentation. Establish claim process and etiquette with customer within contract allotted time. Work with customer, lien holder and insurance companies to attain required documentation. Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by a Contractor to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the Contractor is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The Contractor is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The Contractor must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
