Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lansing, MI Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,747 to $1,947 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Lansing, MI where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current Michigan respiratory therapist license in good standing at time of submission. Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT. (Client requirement.) Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. (Client requirement.) Active NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) credential. (Client requirement.) BLS certification required. ACLS preferred. Must be able to perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures, equipment checks, and documentation according to hospital policies. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift pattern: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hour guarantee. Weekend requirement: Every third weekend. Assignment type: Travel. Duration: 13 week assignment. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other departments within the hospital as needed. Standard Job Description: Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician orders, hospital policies and procedures, and departmental standards of care. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures. Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective action. Provide education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions. Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
